International Grandmaster since 1997. Permanent member of Israeli national Team since 1998 (the only tournament I missed since this time was last World Team Championship in Turkey). Current Israeli Chamion. In summer 2009 I shared 1-2 second place in two big Opens: Politiken Cup and Zurich Jubilee tournament winning last round games respectively against Malakhov and Morozevich !  Another part of my work is coaching. I have a lot of students all over the world , with very different level of play , starting from amateur level and till GM's. Also I had been worked for Vladimir Kramnik in 2005-2007. In 2008 I made my first book serie " Grandmaster Opening Repertoire 1 d4 according to Boris Avrukh". First part has been out in November 2008, while the second part expected to be out in February 2010. The serie has gained a huge popularity and was translated to German Italian languages.
